              Awarded a scholarship to further develop ‘10 Knots’ installation concept through an immersive contemporary art course held amidst the 59th Venice Biennale.

2011  Chapman University & NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, La Cañada Flintridge, CA (The Intersection of Art and Science course)
              Selected for 15 student experimental pilot course taught by artist Lia Halloran. Created interdisciplinary work for exhibition informed by meeting with Nobel Prize-winning theoretical physicist Kip Thorne, and weekly visits to JPL campus observing astrophysicists, engineers, and scientists at work on special projects.
